Her birth date is 29 March 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico. Gerina Michelle was her maiden name. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is Mexican and American. Since she was a child she's been extremely keen on playing sports. Gerina began to play golf when she was fifteen. Gerina graduated from high school through Goddard High School. In the high school level, she was able to win the New Mexico state golf tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player who competed at the state level. In the year 2003 she enrolled at the University of Texas. As a senior, she won each tournament that was entered. In her undergraduate years she won the titles that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
