Thunberg was diagnosed with Aspergers condition, obsessive/compulsive disorder and selective mutatism. Aspergers patients tend to focus on one particular concept or issue which Thunberg's focus was on climate change. At the age of 8, Thunberg first heard about the issue and was unsure how the issue wasn't considered serious. After a couple of changes to her life, she went vegan and quit traveling on a plane. Parents were also convinced to adopt the same approach and decrease their carbon foot print. Thunberg believes climate change is the cause of an existential crises for the entire world. She is vocal about the lack of action by political leaders as well as business people frequently using graphic analogies. Thunberg was able to take decisive action in August of 2018. She stood calmly in front of the Swedish Parliament, put up a sign saying "School Strike For Climate" and boycotted her school. The aim was making politicians aware of the need in order to tackle the effects of global warming. Swedish media caught Thunbergs striking, and the news of her protest spread. In the following days, a plethora of students from around the globe joined the #FridaysforFuture strike, which saw students skip school on Fridays to demonstrate against the effects of climate changes. Climate activists from all over the world coordinated this Global Strike for Climate. The event was hugely successful. More than 1.6 million participants from over 125 countries participated.

Nia peeples was born Virenia Gwendolyn. She is an American actor and singer. She is famous for portraying the role that is Nicole Chapman on the series Fame and also as Pam Fields on the drama Pretty Little Liars. Her roles in the roles of Sydney Cooke and Karen Taylor in Walker Texas Ranger and The Young and the Restless are popular as well. Peeples appeared in guest roles in a variety of television shows, including Tales of the Gold Monkey Hardcastle McCormick T.J. Hooker Matlock Highlander and The Series Marker Andromeda or Longmire.
