Allison Pregler has a similar style as The Cinema Snob, but she is more inclined towards morbidly enjoying dumb action flicks. The reviewer began her journey around the middle of 2009, after she was famous on their forums. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be a part of on the Channel Awesome team. The channel remained member of the channel from January until the beginning of 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She currently hosts two podcasts. One focused on the Charmed series and the second one hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She also appeared as a guest star on Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The show reviews horrible film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. The show also has a few times adult-oriented comedy. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films and gained popularity in forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the family of network movie critics. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many episodes of Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
